The job today

The spreadsheet that carries the error can't catch the error.

The errors that ship are the ones no one is looking for.

The file is bigger than the check

A full book runs to tens of thousands of priced cells across profile, region, band and term. Any check that depends on a person reading it is a sample, not an audit — however good the person.

The worst defects look ordinary

A stripped decimal turns 21.5 into 215. It breaks no formula, trips no error, and sits in a spreadsheet looking exactly like a price. It is found by the broker who quotes it.

"It looked right" is not a defence

When a bad book reaches the market, the question is what was checked and how. A verdict you can point at — the cell, the threshold, the reason — is a different conversation from a sign-off you remember giving.

How it works

Four steps: a book in, a verdict out

One upload, one pass, and a result you can hand to someone else.

01 — Upload

The book as it stands

Your price book, in the shape you already produce it. The format is detected and read in one pass — electricity or gas, no reformatting, no template to fill in first.

02 — Audit

Twenty-one checks, in seconds

The file is interrogated on its own terms — against its own internal logic, not against anyone else's book. The structural pass takes under a second.

03 — Flag

Pass or fail, per check

Each check returns a plain result. Nothing is a hunch: a flag exists because a measured fact crossed a stated threshold, and both are shown alongside it.

04 — Defend

Down to the cell

Every failing check exports the offending rows, with a preview on screen before you download. You can put the cell in front of the person who asks, rather than the summary.

The mechanism in one line: it audits one file on its own terms. No market feed, no comparison against anyone else, nothing that needs a rival's book to work. The only thing it holds your price book to is its own internal logic — which is why the answer arrives before you publish, not after.

Proof

A flag you can hand to someone else

Most checks tell you something is wrong. The useful ones tell you where, and why, in terms you can repeat to your manager without going back to the tool.

Every finding carries three things, and it carries them into the export:

  • The fact. The measured value that triggered it, taken from the file itself.
  • The threshold. What it was held against, stated plainly, so the judgement is visible rather than implied.
  • The cell. The rows involved — previewed on screen, downloadable as a spreadsheet, ready to send on.

Coverage

What it audits today

Electricity

Non-Half-Hourly

Single-rate and day/night books, audited across profile, region, band and term — each profile on its own surface, so a defect is located, not just reported.

Gas

Audited in its own right

Gas books get their own audit surface and their own checks, not electricity's rules applied sideways. Product variants are carried through and never conflated.

The record

Every audit kept

Each run is stored, so the answer to "what did we check, and when" is a lookup rather than a memory. The findings export is the same file weeks later.

The errors that reach the market are the ones nobody was looking for.

Integrity Intelligence · Verify. Validate. Trust.

One file, on its own terms

No market data, no rival's book, nothing external to buy or wait for. It holds your book to its own internal logic.

Before, not after

The audit runs while the file is still yours to change. Every other version of this check happens once a broker has quoted it.

Citable, not impressionistic

Fact, threshold, cell. A finding survives being questioned by someone who wasn't in the room.

Send us a price book.

We'll audit it and send back the findings — the fact, the threshold and the cell for anything that fails. Then you tell us whether you'd have caught it.
